The company said full-year sales and profit were both company records, while Jeffrey Wanner is Graybar's new VP of sales, effective March 21.

St. Louis-based electrical distributor Graybar has announced its 2015 full year sales numbers, and on Monday announced a new vice president of sales.

The company posted 2015 sales of $6.1 billion, a company record, and a 2.2 percent increase over 2014. Graybar said total profit was $91.1 million, also a record for a second-straight year, and a 4.2 percent increase over 2014.

"We increased our sales and gross margin and we managed our expenses well, which resulted in the highest net income in our company’s history," said Kathleen Mazzarella, Graybar chairman, president and CEO. "Over the last several years we have invested in people, locations, technology, and service capabilities. We believe these investments will strengthen our position in the supply chain and enable us to provide our customers and suppliers with exceptional service and value for the long term."

The company has named Jeffrey Wanner as its new vice president of sales, effective March 21. Graybar said Wanner has more than 25 years of industry experience, most recently as Region Vice President for Rexel.
