A&B Valve And Piping Acquires Fellow Texas Distributor Wells Supply

The addition of Beaumont, TX-based Wells Supply enhances A&B's presence and services throughout southeast Texas.

HOUSTON — A&B Valve and Piping Systems, on Tuesday announced its acquisition of Wells Supply, a Beaumont, TX-based pipe, valve and fittings (PVF) supply company.

A&B Valve and Piping Systems has served the Texas and Louisiana markets for more than 40 years as a PVF supplier to the oil and gas, petrochemical, power and other industrial industries. This acquisition follows the February purchase of A&B Valve and Piping Systems by industry veterans Don Poarch and Joe Swinbank, co-founders of the Sprint Companies, and enhances the company’s presence and services in Beaumont and throughout southeast Texas.

“These two highly-respected supply companies are a natural fit, and we’re pleased for Wells Supply to join hands with A&B Valve and Piping Systems to strengthen our offerings to customers in the energy industry,” said Joe Swinbank, co-owner of A&B Valve and Piping Systems and co-founder of the Sprint Companies.

The new A&B Valve and Piping Systems will fold in all Wells Supply employees to grow the company’s operations in Beaumont and build upon its existing relationships in Southeast Texas. With these combined capabilities, A&B Valve and Piping System will be able to meet any supply need from customers.

“Our goal is to provide the best PVF materials available on the market; by adding Wells Supply under the A&B Valve umbrella we can better serve customers and ensure we always have the right product at the right price,” said James Spearman, executive vice president of sales.
