Eaton Showcases Latest Fluid Power, Filtration Solutions At Annual Distributor Meeting

Eaton revealed its new CLS Sectional Mobile Valves, an enhanced PowerSource mobile app and website, the latest Compressed Natural Gas hose products, and a new Variable Speed Drive pump solution that can provide up to 70 percent energy savings.

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN — During Sept. 14-16, Power management company Eaton held its 2015 Eaton Distributor Meeting, or EDM, the only event of its kind for the hydraulics industry featuring innovative products and technologies that keep businesses moving forward.

Bringing together more than 1,000 Eaton distributors, original equipment manufacturers, and product and market experts from around the world, EDM 2015 highlighted Eaton’s latest developments, features, and solutions that help power end-users through every fluid power challenge. 

During the event, Eaton revealed new offerings, including its new CLS Sectional Mobile Valves, an enhanced PowerSource mobile app and website, the latest Compressed Natural Gas hose products, and a new Variable Speed Drive pump solution that can provide up to 70 percent energy savings for equipment in the machine building, manufacturing, oil and gas and marine industries.

With more than 90 workshops and technical trainings, Eaton’s Distributor Meeting delivered a powerful conference and a trade show expo that provided customers an opportunity to get hands on experience with new and proven offerings. This year’s sessions included topics such as advanced mobile valves, sensors in hydraulic systems, and product updates and best practices. Additionally, EDM featured a series of general sessions, including a keynote talk by Astrid Mozes, chief technology officer, Eaton’s Hydraulics Group. 

Eaton broadcasted live from the show via Periscope, a streaming video mobile app connected through Twitter, to create an "on-the-go" broadcast channel dedicated exclusively to EDM presentations and demonstrations.
