TACOMA, WA – Stellar Industrial Supply announced Friday the signing of a letter of intent to join forces with Tucson Abrasives, of Tucson, AZ. The closing of the transaction is scheduled during Stellar's fiscal third quarter. Terms were not disclosed.
After the combination is completed, Stellar, headquartered in Tacoma, WA, will have approximately 175 employees. Stellar will have a total of 13 branches; in addition to the headquarters facility in Tacoma, Stellar will have the following branches; Portland, OR, Albany, OR, Eugene, OR, Everett, WA, Ferndale, WA, Seattle, WA, Spokane, WA, Pasco, WA, Upland, CA, Billings, MT, Tampa, FL, and Tucson, AZ.

Tucson Abrasives is part of Southwest Packing Partners, Inc., providing abrasives and MRO products to a broad array of industries throughout Arizona. Tucson Abrasives is a 3M Distributor and a member of the Industrial Supply Association.
