St. Paul, MN-based adhesives distributor and maker H.B. Fuller reported its 2015 second quarter financials on Wednesday, showing relatively flat sales compared to Q2 2014, but improved profit.

The company posted total sales of $540.8 million in Q2, down from $544.0 million in the same quarter a year ago. Net profit was $24.6 million, up from $20.5 million a year ago.

The company said the negative impacts of a stronger U.S. dollar and a higher core tax rate hurt adjusted earnings.
