Grainger Opens Oilfield Supply Branch In North Dakota

The new branch offers more than 1.4 million products to the Bakken oilfield region.

Grainger – No. 3 on Industrial Distribution's 2014 Big 50 List – has announced the grand opening of its new branch location in Dickinson, ND.

The new branch is 5,000 square feet and offers the Bakken region more than 1.4 million products. Grainger said the location at 3221 Highway 22 will be accessible 24/7 and locally stocks a wide range of inventory specifically tailored to businesses operating in the Bakken oil fields, including a comprehensive offering of safety products and services.

"Grainger is here to do much more than just sell someone a widget," Dickinson Grainger Market Manager Brett Ruhl. "We are here to form a true partnership with our customers in an effort to help them grow their businesses faster and more efficiently by helping create safer work environments and reduce overall costs through better inventory management."

Construction broke ground on the Dickinson facility in July. While the new branch was being constructed, a temporary facility was open at the same location to meet local customer demand.

In 2013, Grainger opened a similar 12,000 square foot branch in Williston, ND, 131 miles north of Dickinson.

The Dickinson branch can be reached by phone at (701) 492-9955 or by fax at (701) 483-9289).
