Airgas – No. 8 on Industrial Distribution's 2014 Big 50 List – on Tuesday announced is has acquired Muscle Shoals, AL-based Valley Air Supply, Inc., an industrial gas and welding supply distributor that had more than $10 million in sales in fiscal 2014. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Valley Air Supply has four locations: Muscle Shoals, AL; Decatur, AL; Jasper, AL; and Jackson, TN. Those four sites and more than 30 associates joined Airgas effective late April 2015.

The acquisition is Airgas' third since the start of its fiscal 2016 that began on April 1. The first two included Liberty Welding Supply (Vancouver, WA), and eKipro Rentals and Grupo Industrial Daymaga in Mexico.
