Wolseley UK Managing Director To Step Down

Steve Ashmore will leave his post at the end of the April after 10 years with the company.

Builders Merchants Journal reported Thursday that Wolseley UK managing director Steve Ashmore will leave his post at the end of April to "pursue his own path."

Ashmore has been with Wolseley for 10 years, serving as managing director of the UK business since May 2010. From 2008-2010 he served as managing director of Wolseley's UK Heavyside business, which comprises the Brandon Hire, Build, Drain, Encon, and Maintenance businesses.

BMJ reports that Ashmore's replacement is is Patrick Headon, currently managing director of Wolseley's Central Europe operations. Headon has been with Wolseley for three years and has operational management experience across international consumer goods and retailing.
