WinWholesale, No. 16 on Industrial Distribution's 2014 Big 50 List, announced Tuesday that it has acquired Selkirk, NY-based Security Supply, a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating and air conditioning products. Terms were not disclosed.
Security Supply has 12 locations serving the lower Mid-Hudson Valley, north through the Adirondeck Region of New York, Western Massachusetts and Eastern Vermont. The company will keep its name.
The acquisition brings WinWholesale's location count to more than 570 in 45 states.
WinWholesale said Kim Willey has been named president of Security Supply, while other current key managers will assume senior positions at the company and be offered substantial equity in the respective companies at some point in the future.

On Monday, WinWholesale announced the opening of a WinSupply in Wise County, TX. The location will serve wholesale plumbing contractors in Wise County, which includes the communities of Decatur and Bridgeport, Northwest of Fort Worth.
Michael Schoville, who has 23 years of plumbing distribution experience with the Win Group of Companies, is president of Wise County Winsupply.
