Sonepar announced earlier this week that electrical wholesaler Solar Deutschland will join the group, subject to approval from competition authorities in Germany, expected before the end of April 2015.
Solar Deutschland has two brands in the German Market, Solar and GFI. The company has 27 branches and almost 360 associates, according to Sonepar. Solar Deutschland's 2014 sales were an estimated $143 million.
Sonepar says the acquisition will expand its geographic coverage North of Germany.
The acquisition is Sonepar's third in Europe so far in 2015.
