France-based Sonepar announced Friday that Belgium's Vanas Beyond Tools will be joining the group, effective Feb. 1. Terms were not disclosed.
Vanas Beyond Tools is a specialty distributor of tooling and lifting accessories. A family-owned business founded in 1946 and based in the Flemish city of Antwerp, with a workforce of 45 employees, Vanas booked sales of $15.8 million in 2014.
Sonepar says the acquisition reflects Dutch subsidiary Cebeo's strategy to develop its close-to-core business.
