United Stationers And ECi Extend Collaboration Agreement

The agreement sets in motion extended integration of United's digital services into a number of ECi's e-commerce platforms, providing resellers access to e-commerce tools both now and into the future.

DEERFIELD, Ill. — United Stationers and eCommerce Industries Inc. have signed a three-year agreement to extend their collaboration to continue to deliver innovative digital e-commerce tools for resellers. The agreement sets in motion extended integration of United's digital services into a number of ECi's e-commerce platforms, providing resellers access to e-commerce tools both now and into the future.

Under the terms of the agreement, United Stationers will offer upgraded SmartSearch and premium relationship functionality to customers utilizing the ECinteractive Plus, D-Force II plus and Red Falcon (formerly known as Red Cheetah) platforms. The agreement also opens the door to additional SmartMerchandisingand advanced analytics capabilities that will greatly enhance the online shopping experience for independent resellers' customers. The collaboration road map includes developing capabilities for re-targeting based on previous shopping patterns, browsing or cart abandonment as well as future multivariate testing capabilities to optimize performance of digital merchandising and marketing.
