Fastenal, No. 12 on Industrial Distribution's 2014 Big 50 List, reported its November financials on Wednesday.
The company reported November sales of $286.3 million, up 9.6 percent over November 2013. Daily sales jumped even higher, at 15.3 percent from a year ago to $15 million.
Sales to manufacturing customers grew 13.6 percent during the month, while sales to nonresidential construction increased 10.2 percent.
Fastenal opened one new store during November, bringing its total store count to 2,648. It has opened 23 new stores so far in 2014. Year-over-year employee headcount has increased 7.5 percent to 15,528.
