Sonepar has announced that HoST Pte Ltd, an electrical and industrial automation distributor in Singapore, joined the Group on Oct. 31.
Founded in 1990, HoST is one of the leading suppliers of automation products in Singapore and is the oldest Rockwell Automation distributor outside of North America.
HoST has become a critical supplier to systems integrators and OEMs; its sales in 2013 exceeded €15 million ($18.6 million).
HoST reinforces Sonepar’s presence in Singapore and Southeast Asia by strengthening its leadership in the region. Sonepar also confirms its commitment to both the Industrial Automation and the Oil & Gas markets.
