Beacon Roofing Supply Acquires Applicators Sales & Service

Beacon strengthens its presence in northern New England by adding the 50-year old company.

HERNDON, Va. —Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (Nasdaq: BECN) announced Wednesday that it has acquired Applicators Sales & Service (“Applicators”), a distributor of primarily residential roofing, siding, windows, and related accessories with its headquarters in Portland, Maine. Founded in 1958 by David Koocher and Jerry Robinov, Applicators has remained owned by the Koocher and Robinov families with four branches in Maine (Portland, Bangor, Augusta and Auburn), one in Salem, New Hampshire, and annual sales of approximately $48 Million.
