Magid Unveils New Safety Products, Logo

These milestones include the launch of several industry-first products and services, the opening of the company’s new world-class headquarters and the unveiling of a new Magid logo and brand.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Magid, the leading manufacturer and supplier of safety solutions and personal protective equipment (PPE), has announced from the National Safety Congress & Expo that the company has reached major milestones as the industry’s go-to resource for safety solutions.

These milestones include the launch of several industry-first products and services, the opening of the company’s new world-class headquarters and the unveiling of a new Magid logo and brand.

  • Expanded Offerings: Over the past two years, Magid introduced more than 500 new safety products, extending its lines of coated cut-resistant gloves, impact-resistant gloves, eye protection and protective clothing. These latest innovations include a cut-resistant work glove (#GPD800) that offers the highest level of cut protection using a thin, ultra-lightweight material and a new Safety-on-Site “Mobile Option” service for cost-effectively supplying PPE at remote job sites. Both offerings represent industry firsts.
  • New Location: Last month, Magid began moving into its new 700,000 square-foot facility located in Romeoville, IL, a suburb of Chicago. The new location enables the company to operate more efficiently by combining Magid’s headquarters, manufacturing, warehousing and order fulfillment centers under one roof, while providing room for future expansion.
  • New Brand: Today, Magid unveiled its new brand identity that includes a distinctive new logo and the positioning statement, Safety at work™. The new logo embodies the Magid brand using a strong, unique typography that conveys the company’s clear and straight-forward style and reflects the safety solutions’ provider that Magid is today. The tagline expresses the company’s drive to deliver the best value for its customers’ safety programs and people.

“Together, these recent milestones illustrate our shift from a manufacturer and distributor to an innovator and safety solutions provider,” said Rusty Cohen, Executive Vice President, Magid. “We continue to invest in research and development and operational improvements to grow our business, expand into new markets and partner with customers to create safer workplaces.”
