With sales reaching $326.9 million, Fastenal reported that its August overall sales increased year-over-year by 9.8 percent.
Fastenal saw daily sales climb 15.5 percent to $15.6 million, with daily sales to manufacturing customers improving 14 percent and sales to nonresidential construction customers went up 9.4 percent.
The company opened two new stores in August, and increased its workforce to 18,210 employees — up 12.4 percent year-over-year.
