Due to growing spatial needs, Anixter International's distribution center in Manchester, Connecticut has moved to a larger facility seven miles north in South Haven, according to the Journal Enquirer.
“We were bursting at the seams,” Anixter Vice President of Finance Don Bosco was quoted as saying of the 36,000-square-foot location in Manchester that the company left.
Anixter, based out of Glenview, IL, came in at No. 6 on Industrial Distribution's Big 50 List of the top industrial distributor's by revenue. It is a leading global distributor of communications and security products, electrical and electronic wire and cable, fasteners, and other small components.
