VEC Supply to Acquire Assets of American Electronic Supply Company

VEC Supply announced Monday they have signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of American Electronic Supply Company.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- VEC Supply, a leading distributor of datacom, security and industrial automation products, based in Charlottesville, VA, announced Monday they have signed a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of American Electronic Supply Company, a distributor of datacom, security, AV & CCTV products based in Birmingham, AL.
 
The deal is expected to close by August 20.
 
Under the terms of the agreement, American Electronic Supply Company (AESC) will operate as a stand-alone division of VEC and will continue to support their existing customers in the Alabama marketplace.
