ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Summit Electric Supply’s newest gulf coast service center will open in Houma, Louisiana this September. The company’s new location will serve the daily electrical needs of contractors in Houma as well as Morgan City and adjacent areas of southeast Louisiana, including marine and drilling; industrial; commercial; and maintenance, repair, and operation customers.
Now Summit’s fourth facility in southern Louisiana, the Houma service center is located at 503 South Hollywood Road and is under the direction of service center leader Ed Dowey, who also heads Summit’s Marine Division in New Orleans.
The service center will stock marine cable, electric motors, and an array of name brand electrical products from leading companies such as Pauluhn, Hayata, 3M, Burndy, Roxtec, Woodhead, Mersen, Remke, Klein Tools, and Eaton — including Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds and Cooper Wiring Devices. Operating hours will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (MT), along with convenient 24-hour emergency service.
