Cummins-Wagner Completes Acquisition Of J. L. Moore

Cummins-Wagner Co., Inc. recently announced that it has completed its acquisition of J. L. Moore, Inc.

Annapolis Junction — Cummins-Wagner Co., Inc., a leading distributor of industrial process equipment and HVAC equipment in the Mid-Atlantic region, recently announced that it has completed its acquisition of J. L. Moore, Inc. J.L. Moore will become part of Siewert Equipment, a division of Cummins-Wagner-Siewert, LLC.
 
J.L Moore, Inc., located in Orchard Park, NY, is a leading manufacturer’s representative for valves, pump systems and process equipment for the water supply, wastewater and hydroelectric markets. J.L. Moore has been supplying water systems solutions to the New York markets since 1957.
 
Siewert Equipment is headquartered in Rochester, NY and is recognized as a leading distributor/manufacturers’ representative in the sales of pumps, fluid process equipment, mixers and system packages. They provide assembly, aftermarket service and engineered solutions to its customers in New York State.
 
The combination of J.L. Moore and Siewert Equipment creates a Company with greater scale and resources to provide complete systems solutions in the water/wastewater markets. This acquisition is a key part of Cummins-Wagner’s overall business strategy of steady, manageable growth through market penetration and acquisition. “The synergies between our companies will bring a complete systems/process approach to our customer base, and provide a more distinct product and service offering,” states Doug Ardinger, President/CEO of Cummins-Wagner.

J.L Moore will be managed by Jerry Connolly, VP of the Siewert Equipment branches in New York.
