Apax Partners has put a hold on its sale of Epicor Software Systems, according to a recent article by the Wall Street Journal.
The WSJ cites bidding interest for the retail solutions provider, including CVC Capital Partners, but not good enough prices to go ahead with a sale.
Apax put Epicor up for sale back in May, having acquired it in 2011. May estimates had Epicor fetching between $2.5 and 3.5 billion.
