Winona, MN - Fastenal Company released the numbers for their May sales month, noting that net sales rose 8.3% year over year.
Net sales in May of 2014 were $313,535 (Dollar amounts in thousands), up from $289,440 in the same month of 2013. The daily sales were $14,930, up 13.5% from $13,156 in 2013.
The company opened three stores in the month of May, for a total of 12 in 2014.
