The NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence Elects Two New Directors

The two new members are Kevin Kampe, President of Womack Machine Supply Co.; and Talbot Gee, Executive Vice President and COO of the Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI).

WASHINGTON, DC — The NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) has announced the election of two new members to its Board of Directors: Kevin Kampe, President of Womack Machine Supply Co., and Talbot Gee, Executive Vice President and COO of the Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI).

According to Joe Nettemeyer, Chairman of the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence, and President and CEO of Valin Corporation, “We are very pleased to have Kevin Kampe and Talbot Gee join us on the NAW Institute Board. HARDI (Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International) is the single voice of wholesale distribution within the HVACR industry. HARDI distributor members serve installation and service/replacement contractors in residential and commercial markets, as well as commercial/industrial and institutional maintenance staffs. The National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) was created in 1946 to deal with issues of interest to the entire merchant wholesale distribution industry, thereby freeing affiliated associations to concentrate on the concerns specific to their lines of trade. NAW is a federation of approximately 80 wholesale distribution associations and thousands of individual firms that collectively total more than 40,000 companies. Established by NAW in 1967, the role of the NAW Institute for Distribution Excellence is to sponsor and disseminate research into strategic management issues affecting the wholesale distribution industry. The NAW Institute aims to help merchant wholesaler-distributors remain the most effective and efficient channel in distribution.
