Lenexa, KS – Claudio Dente, President of Dentec Safety Specialists, announced that Dentec has purchased the US Safety respirator operation from MCR Safety as of March 7, 2014. Mr. Dente said, “the Comfort-Air® and Comfort-Ease™ products have unique designs that will provide our customers with a reason to reconsider their half mask and full face mask needs going forward”.
In addition, the Diskit filter is a pancake style cartridge that is available with a patented sparkshield for the welder. All Comfort-Air® cartridges also feature a unique space plenum between the filtering material and the inhalation port for lower breathing resistance and longer cartridge life. The patented Saf-Twist cartridge connecting system allows the cartridge to mounted on the facepiece in three different positions. This allows the Dentec respirator to be used with other PPE such as faceshields and welding helmets.
