Matheson Acquires Continental Carbonic Products, Inc.

Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc., a global manufacturer and supplier of industrial, medical, electronics and specialty gases and welding supplies, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Continental Carbonic Products, Inc. (CCPI), an Illinois-based manufacturer and supplier of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide.

DECATUR, Ill. & BASKING RIDGE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc., a global manufacturer and supplier of industrial, medical, electronics and specialty gases and welding supplies headquartered in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Continental Carbonic Products, Inc. (CCPI), an Illinois-based manufacturer and supplier of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide. Matheson is the largest subsidiary of Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation (TNSC), which is one of the top five global producers of industrial, medical, electronics and specialty gases and is headquartered in Japan. The acquired business operates 31 branch locations and 8 production facilities located throughout the Midwest, Eastern and Southern United States.
