PTDA Spring Leaders Conference Builds Executive Leadership Skills

The PTDA's Spring Leaders Conference is scheduled for March 2-4 in Las Vegas, NV, and will focus on maximizing leadership potential in order to keep up with the pressures of today’s power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) marketplace.

Chicago, IL — Realizing one’s maximum leadership potential is necessary to keep up with the pressures of today’s power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) marketplace, which is why the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) offers its Spring Leaders Conference, scheduled for March 2-4 in Las Vegas, Nev., at the Vdara Hotel & Spa at Aria Las Vegas.

The conference begins with several committee meetings for the Association’s volunteers and is followed by a General Education Session. Leaders of all levels from any of PTDA member companies are invited to participate in this General Education Session which features an in-depth exploration on improving productivity and communication within today’s age-diverse workplace.  Managing Director of The Center for Generational Studies, Robert W. Wendover, will teach practical strategies for fostering trust between age groups. Attendees will learn techniques for establishing a cross-generational culture that will make their companies and staff more cohesive.

On March 4, the 2014 PTDA Spring Leaders Conference delivers its Leadership Development Conference, where executives can hone their management and relationship-building skills. An attendee favorite facilitator, Randy Disharoon, Director—Global Strategic Accounts for Rexnord Industries, LLC., will challenge attendees live up to their leadership potential.  Focusing on personal growth, talent retention, team development and creating a legacy for the next generation, the Leadership Development Conference provides the ideal environment, particularly for up-and-coming young executives like those in the PTDA Next Generation group, to sharpen their leadership skills.

Those who register for the Leadership Development Conference attend the General Education Session at no additional charge. Or, participants may register to attend just the General Education Session portion of the conference.  Additionally, the 2014 PTDA Spring Leaders Conference in Las Vegas, Nev., immediately precedes the triennial IFPE tradeshow.
