Portland, OR – Retail powerhouse Sears and the innovative work footwear brand KEEN Utility are strking up a relationship as KEEN begins to sell their safety footwear through Sears department stores.

Outfitting families for generations, Sears has become known as a go-to gear destination for DIY'ers to professional craftspeople and everyone in between. New to the safety footwear field, KEEN Utility has quickly carved a place for its work footwear in the market, proving that work boots are just as important as any other tool — in this case, tools for your feet.

Sears patrons will now have access to several KEEN Utility safety styles for men and women at 50 doors throughout the U.S. and online at Sears.com and ShopYourWay.com. These styles incorporate the iconic KEEN toe-bumper silhouette with advanced performance and safety details including asymmetrical safety-toes, the distinctive KEEN.Welt construction and oil- and slip-resistant outsoles.

“This country was built by hard workers, many of whom have counted Sears as a trusted retailer for generations,” said Kevin Kious, KEEN Utility Sales Director. “To be able to present a selection of our safety offerings to the Sears customer is an exciting venture that will allow even more people to experience our unique safety product.”

Available men’s and women’s styles at select Sears locations will include:

  • Portland PR: Hard-working boots, assembled by hard-working Americans
  • Pittsburgh: The Must-Have Tool on the Job Site
  • Tucson: A Work Wear Essential with a Weekend Silhouette
  • Flint Low: Work Footwear with a Woman’s Fit
  • Atlanta Cool: Hot Weather Work Has Met its Match

These styles and more will be marching into select Sears locations, sears.com and ShopYourWay.com across the country this fall.
