ERIKS, a Netherlands-based industrial service provider of a wide range of industrial products and technical services, including fabricated hoses, gaskets, valves and sealing products is pleased to announce it has acquired substantially all of the commercial activities of Leader Global Technologies (Leader), a leading manufacturer and provider of spiral wound and metal gaskets for a variety of industrial applications worldwide. Leader is headquartered in Houston, Texas with additional operations in Baton Rouge, LA and Bytča, Slovakia.
Speaking on the acquisition, ERIKS CEO Johan Sleebus said, “The acquisition of Leader brings ERIKS a well-known brand in a key product category. The company manufactures high-quality products for use in end markets that are at the core of ERIKS’ global technical services strategy.”
Leader has a well established business model of providing “Engineered Sealing Solutions through Partnered Distribution”. The company will continue to implement this channel strategy on a global basis.
The Leader US operations will become a part of the ERIKS North America business while the Bytča, Slovakia manufacturing facility will become part of the ERIKS European operations.
