Motion and Flow Control Products Expands in Pacific Northwest with Acquisition of American Hose & Fittings, Inc.
Denver, CO -- Motion and Flow Control Products, Inc. (MFCP), a leading distributor of fluid connectors, fluid power equipment, instrumentation products, and seals, announced it has acquired American Hose and Fittings, Inc., to further expand the geographic reach of its industrial products network. American Hose, one of the largest fluid connector distributors in Washington, is headquartered in Kent, Washington, and has a second location in the Seattle suburb of Ballard, Washington.
Created in 2011 by the merger of McCoy Sales Corporation and Fluid Connector Products, Inc., MFCP serves industrial customers in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Wyoming, Oregon, Washington and Idaho, and operates ParkerStore™ locations which supply OEM and MRO customers with direct access to the engineered industrial products and factory-trained personnel. MFCP’s McCoy Sales division also operates as a manufacturer’s representative for HVAC products, and provides engineered solutions for commercial, institutional, and residential HVAC customers.
Like MFCP, American Hose is a full-line distributor for Parker Hannifin’s Fluid Connector Group. The company is highly focused on industrial fittings, hoses and related products, and serves as a stocking distributor for Parker’s Instrumentation and Automation Groups. Along with being a supplier and distributor of hose, fittings and accessories, American Hose has in-house equipment and capabilities to weld, fabricate and assemble the custom metal hose assemblies that specific applications demand. As a custom hose fabricator, American Hose specializes in hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies for a wide range of customers, both domestically and abroad.

American Hose & Fittings owners Greg Bowman and Peter Grimes are excited to join the senior management team of MFCP, helping to support the growth of the combined businesses.
