Karen Witts to Step down as Non Executive Director
July 2, 2012 - The Board of Wolseley plc announces today that Karen Witts will be standing down with immediate effect as a Non-Executive Director of Wolseley plc following her appointment as Group Finance Director of Kingfisher plc.
Wolseley Chairman, Gareth Davis said: “On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Karen for her contribution and we wish her every success in her new role.”
Wolseley plc is a large specialist trade distributor of plumbing and heating products to professional contractors and a leading supplier of building materials in North America, the UK and Continental Europe. Group revenue for the year ended 31 July was £13.6 billion and trading profit was £622 million. Wolseley has around 40,000 employees, is listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: WOS) and is in the FTSE 100 index of listed companies.
