Praxair 1Q Sales Up 5%

Sales in the first quarter were $3,026 million, 5% above the prior-year quarter, and up 9%, excluding foreign currency. Organic sales grew 6% driven by higher on-site volumes from new project start-ups primarily in North America and Asia.

2013 Big 50 List

Total revenues grew 4% to $3.6 billion and operating income increased 16% to $667 million. Organic revenues increased 3.3%, with international growing 6.3% and North America increasing 1.0%.
