Industrial Careers Pathway Fund Drive Nearing $200K In Distributor Contributions

A total of 63 industrial distributors, manufacturers, and individuals have made pledges as of March 1, including several ID Big 50 List companies.

In October of 2014, the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) kicked off the Vanguard Campaign, a 2015 fund drive through its educational division, The Industrial Careers Pathway. As of March 1, the drive has already raised nearly $188,000 through contributions from various industrial distributors, including several companies on Industrial Distributon's 2014 Big 50 List.

The 2014 campaign raised $310,000, and 2015's is on pace to far surpass that mark. To date, 63 organizations and individual have made pledges to the fund drive, including industrial distributors large and small, and the manufacturers they support.

The funds go toward driving talented workers to the key positions of sales and customer service in industrial distribution.
