What are the best and the worst states for being "business friendly?" Agency Sales, the magazine for the Manufacturers’ Agents National Association, listed the best and the worst based on data published by the Tax Foundation for 2007.

1. Wyoming (best)
2. South Dakota
3. Alaska
4. Nevada
5. Florida
6. Texas
7. New Hampshire
8. Montana
9. Delaware
10. Oregon

The ten worst

41. Minnesota
42. Maine
43. Iowa
44. Nebraska
45. California
46. Vermont

48. New Jersey

50. Rhode Island (worst)

Jack, I'm surprised that Illinois isn't in your top 10 worst. Everytime I go to the local republican caucus I leave feeling like moving to Indiana. Our state government isn't working for us. Our local Cook county government is taxing us broke. Tony Periaca calls it a "corruption tax. "
