Pleasanton, Calif.—Enterprise management software provider PeopleSoft recently announced a product it says aids collaboration with customers and suppliers by linking critical business processes via the Internet.

Accelerated Supply Chain Management is ideally suited for wholesale distributors working against tight timelines with limited IT resources, PeopleSoft says. It is offered at a fixed price and offers small and mid-size businesses savings and a faster return on investment. The software addresses critical needs to connect with customers and suppliers, and allows for the phased implementation of Internet-capable applications that provide the distributor with complete front-to-back integration of business processes.

The firm also recently introduced a product that automates financial settlements and payments.
