West Springfield, Mass.—Profile Systems new software, ProSAIM® 2000, allows firms to automatically create replenishment orders for their customers' warehouses and distribution centers.

The vendor managed inventory software monitors usage and creates orders using mutually defined inventory turn and service level targets. Recent enhancements include minimum or incremental order quantities and other packaging parameters for a customer, location, or product group, class or item; increased ability to fine tune fulfillment strategies and replenishment values, based on seasonality factors, rush order requirements, and holiday scheduling.

A recent service pack includes pre-season product launching, improved replenishment logic for low-volume items, and user-defined report writing capabilities.
