Emery-Waterhouse opens new Pennsylvania DC

Emery-Waterhouse Co. opened a new distribution center in Pittston, Pa., the Home Channel News Web site reported (registration required).

The Portland, Maine-based hardware and building materials distributor is expanding its footprint on the East Coast. Emery-Waterhouse acquired specialty building materials distributor Morgan Distribution Co., which has two locations in Dunmore, Pa., and West Haven, Conn., last year and began operating it as a subsidiary, according to the Web site.
