Crane Co. buys Delta Fluid Products

St. Helens, England-based Delta, which employs about 200 workers, manufactures regulators and fire-safe valves for the gas industry and safety and air vent valves for the facilities maintenance market. The company posts annual sales of roughly $37 million.

“Delta Fluid Products designs and manufactures products for the natural gas and building services markets which are very complementary to Crane’s building services and utilities product lines. This acquisition will broaden our product offering and will strengthen our existing business,” said Eric Fast, president and CEO of Stamford, Conn.-based Crane.
