F.W. Webb looks to expand on Cape Cod

F.W. Webb Co. plans to double the size of its location in barnstable, Mass., the Barnstable Patriot reported.

The Bedford, Mass.-based plumbing supplies distributor plans to sell its current, 20,000-square-foot location in the Cape Cod town and move to another, similarly sized building it already owns before doubling its size in a build-out.

“Business in Hyannis is very good,” chairman Jack Hester told the newspaper. “We’re counting on Cape Cod to keep going.”

F. W. Webb ranked 16th on INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBUTION's 2008 Big 50 list of distributors, with 2007 sales of $650 million.
