Hobart Brothers Co. plans Ohio expansion

Hobart Brothers Co. plans to expand its manufacturing capability with a $2.9 million facility in Troy, Ohio, the Dayton Daily News reported.

The Illinois Tool Works subsidiary filed plans with the city for the 64,375 -square-foot plant, the newspaper reported, which will complement its existing plant in Troy.

Together with another ITW subsidiary, Hobart Food Group, the welding products manufacturer employs roughly 1,300 workers in the region.
