General Bearing’s 2Q sales rise 8 percent

General Bearing Corp. posted second-quarter sales of $35.1 million, up 8 percent compared with $32.5 million during the same period last year.The West Nyack, N.Y.-based bearings manufacturer’s unaudited results include a 15.5 percent decrease in net income, to $1.51 million compared with $1.79 million during the second quarter of 2007.
The company did not provide any statement with the sales and earnings release.
