Kaman introduces four new product lines

Industrial Distribution staff -- Industrial Distribution, 8/13/2008 6:25:00 AM

Kaman Industrial Technologies will distribute Energizer Battery, Flir Systems Inc., Guardair Corp. and Walter Surface Technologies products in North America.

The Windsor, Conn.-based MRO distributor said it will carry Energizer’s batteries, battery-powered devices and flashlights.

Kaman, ranked 15th on INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBUTION’s 2008 Big 50 list of distributors, will also sell Flir Systems’ infrared camera and thermal imaging products, which are used for diagnostic tasks including predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, non-destructive testing, R&D, temperature measurement and thermal testing. And the company will offer Guardair’s safety air guns, siphon guns and pneumatic shop vacuums for industrial cleaning and maintenance applications.

Kaman will also sell Walter Surface Technologies’ environmentally friendly metal surface treatment products, including the Bio-Circle solvent parts washing system.

“We are very pleased to be aligned with leading manufacturers such as these,” accessory products manager David Grebowski said. “We are continuously working to enhance our ability to serve customers’ needs for high quality product solutions. The addition of these four lines is the latest in our efforts to expand the maintenance products portfolio within Kaman’s accessory products category.”
