Air Liquide’s first-half revenues rise 13 percent

Revenues rose 13.2 percent to $9.75 billion during the first six months of 2008 for Air Liquide, compared with $8.6 billion during the same period last year.Profits for the French industrial gases distributor rose 8.1 percent to $919.5 million, compared with $850.7 million during the first six months of 2007.
Benoît Potier, chairman and CEO, said the company expects profits to increase at a double-digit rate for the full year, compared with fiscal 2007.
