Cummins-Wagner to buy Siewert Equipment

Rochester, N.Y.-based SECO, which provides assembly, aftermarket service and engineered solutions for fluid process equipment, employs 47 workers and has branches in New York and Florida.

“The synergies between our businesses will bring a real benefit not only to our combined operations, but to our total customer base and vendors as well,” Cummins-Wagner president and CEO Doug Ardinger said.

The acquisition, expected to close by October, will see SECO’s employees join the Annapolis Junction, Md.-based industrial process and HVAC equipment distributor’s employee stock ownership plan.
