Norandex buys Area Vinyl Siding Distributors

Area Vinyl's two locations in Walker and Gonzales, La., will operate under Norandex Building Materials Distribution’s banner with president and owner C.J. Serpas serving as district manager.

Norandex, which is owned by French building materials manufacturer/distributor Saint Gobain, said all Area Vinyl employees will keep their jobs.

“Despite current U.S. economic conditions, we continue to look for opportunities to expand our markets, which is a key part of our long-term growth strategy,” president and CEO Brian Chambers said.
