Richelieu Hardware buys N.C. hardware distributor

High Point, N.C.-based Top Supplies distributes decorative and functional hardware to the furniture manufacturing and commercial woodworking industries.

Guy Grenier, vice president of sales and marketing for Montreal-based Richelieu, said the deal expands the hardware manufacturer/distributors reach into the American market.

“We are pleased to establish our distribution presence in the furniture capital of the world. Integrating these new operations will bring our American network to 16 distribution centers and will enable us to penetrate a new market with the complete Richelieu product line closer to geographic areas currently served,“ Grenier said.
