Ferguson opens California clearance center

Ferguson Enterprises Inc. opened a new clearance center in Pomona, Calif., for retail sale of excess inventory.

The plumbing supplies distributor, which is a division of British building materials distributor Wolseley plc, said the 7,600-square-foot showroom will offer excess inventory and discontinued material from Ferguson warehouses and showrooms in Southern California.

Wolseley ranked first on INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBUTION’s 2008 Big 50 list of distributors, with 2007 sales of $31.6 billion.
