Grainger opens new Illinois location

The new, 20,000-square-foot branch is part of a four-store expansion in the Chicago region for the Lake Forest, Ill.-based broad-line MRO distributor. Including the Aurora site, the company has opened or plans to open four new stores, relocate three and expand 12 more.

Grainger ranked fourth on INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBUTION's 2008 Big 50 list of distributors, with 2007 sales of $6.4 billion.
