Parker Hannifin acquires Titan Industries

     Parker Hannifin Co. acquired Titan Industries, a manufacturer of industrial rubber, custom made and composite hoses.

     Headquartered in South Gate, Calif., Titan has additional locations in Houston and Salisbury, N.C. It employs 150 people and had sales of $28 million in 2007.

     Titan will be integrated into the Industrial Hose Products Division of Parker's Fluid Connectors Group.

     "Titan has always been recognized as a leader in the industrial hose business,” Bob Bond, president of Parker’s Fluid Connectors Group, said. “Its custom-made hose operations in California and North Carolina specialize in designing and fabricating products that expand Parker's strategic product portfolio.”
