Womack Machine Supply buys Applied International Motion

Womack Machine Supply Co. acquired Applied International Motion LLC for an undisclosed amount.

La Verne, Calif.-based Applied International, which distributes motion control products and systems to the semiconductor, medical, defense, packaging, machine tools and general automation industries, has two locations in La Verne and Benicia, Calif.

Farmers Branch, Texas-based Womack Machine Supply CEO Mike Rowlett said the deal increases its footprint in California and Nevada and broadens its product line.
